These are an upgrade for close to stock trucks that have minimal supporting mods. The nozzles are SAC type and match the original Late 5.9 spray pattern (5 hole, 128°) with a higher flow to easily deliver an additional 100+HP. All components are built and tested on specialized equipment designed and built in-house at Exergy. Every 100HP injector is tested at multiple calibration points, and held to tolerances that are tighter than factory. There are no shortcuts.
When switching from the factory VCO nozzle to a SAC type nozzle it is highly recommended to increase rail pressure to maintain optimum fuel atomization to provide a clean idle. With the increased fuel from these injectors tuning will be needed to achieve acceptable EGT’s and to optimize drivability.
